Hebrews 13:8-9

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by eating ceremonial foods, which is of no benefit to those who do so.

Malachi 3:6

I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.

Revelation 1:8

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

It's Lama Tzong Khapa Day this Saturday.

I like the picture, I appreciate the spirituality but I shrink from any theocratic state and not secular.

"Every day there are small moments when we have a choice: will we take in more stuff, or just clear our minds out for a bit" A great interview with a Buddhist monk http://ideas.ted.com/want-to-be-happy-slow-down/ #meditation #mindfulness

Dharma Mittra (one of my favourite yoga teachers) about meditation: "It is in the absence of mental activities that you get recharged, that you come to operate on higher levels. We are not the body or the activities so it is good always to sit quietly like a witness watching the activities of the body and mind" http://yoganonymous.com/dharma-mitt…explained/"

This one is also a great example. Remember us that we have storm feelings, but the blue sky is still there ;) Have a good weekend!

I've been listening to the Audiobook of Waking Up by Sam Harris again. Highly recommended for anybody who is interested in meditation from a slightly more scientific angle: http://www.audible.com/pd/Religion…B00M9KCT12
