Feeling Christmassy at our Christmas Tree Festival :)
Today's the day (and tomorrow!) - our Christmas Tree festival and farmers market is here. It's always popular and it leaves everyone feeling very Christmassy, so why not come and join us? There are stalls, live music, mulled wine, mince pies, Christmas trees, outdoor rides for the children, as well as a visit from the big man in red. Read all about it here:
The Christmas Trees are now in! This year, we're selling lovely, non-drop, Nordman Firs and rooted Caucasian Firs. We usually sell most of them at our Christmas Tree festival, which is this weekend, so don't delay!
Christmas lunches in our Lakeside Cafe start today! Why not gather a group of friends for a pre-Christmas get together? Booking essential! Find out more here
The long awaited #BlackFriday is finally here. If you're grabbing some bargains, don't forget to shop via Give As You Live and a percentage of your spend will be donated to your favourite charity (ahem... us!) - at no extra cost! Give as you Live have collated some great deals here: https://www.giveasyoulive.com/cyberdeals
This post was shared by someone threatening that if they didn't receive their (son's?) Christmas list soon, they'd be getting a tree for Christmas! Whilst we think it's a great present, we understand that not everyone would feel the same way, so, in the (self) interest of spreading the word, feel free to share our original post with a mild threat :)
If you're partial to some 40's and 50's classics, why not join us for our Retro Christmas Concert with the glamorous Polka Dots duo.
Walking down memory lane (and taking a seat). Robin Braithwaite took the time to look a bit deeper into the fascinating lives of two local residents, whose newly installed memorial bench, now sits at the Grange Estate, in Willington.
You know that feeling when you have a secret that you can't tell, but you want to REALLY badly? That's me today.
Our next farmers market is on Sunday October 18th. We'd love you to join us - why not make a day of it and take a walk around our Wetlands and grab some lunch as well. Find out more about a couple of our new traders here
