Our nutritionist ensures that the food we provide to over 22,000 school children daily (eg: "magic" bagels) is low in sugar, fat and salt and complies with the government's School Food Standards. Unfortunately basic breakfast food such as bread can be a big "hidden" source of salt. Our nutritionist recommends that a salt level of 0.3 to 1.5g/100g in bread is ok - any more is too high!
Lovely article about Dishoom, who generously support Magic Breakfast, helping us to provide nutritious breakfasts to more than 22,000 hungry children each school day.
