K to College is building a statewide supply bank, similar to a food bank, to provide basic material needs assistance to all homeless and other under-resourced kids.
K to College celebrates a great partnership with United Way of Monterey and the Monterey County Office of Education! With a donation from K to College of $100,000 of materials, provided through the School Supplies for Homeless Children Fund, they distributed 1,124 backpacks and 640 school supply kits and 2,000 dental kits. This was a great start to serving the 7,170 homeless students in the County. Thanks to this year’s fellow sponsors and everyone else who volunteered!
