Homeless Film Festival

We raise awareness of the diverse causes of homelessness worldwide through film and creating new audiences. We showcase and support talent, screening high end features, documentaries and shorts. We also deliver digital / film skills workshops to homeless affected people. We believe in positive, social impact through the arts and that film offers new perspectives for everyone.

We are very happy to present with Streetwise Opera a FREE screening of The Passion. The Passion has received rave reviews, including five stars in The Times and four stars in The Guardian and The Stage. It was broadcast on BBC Four on Easter Sunday. This has been made possible in partnership with The Whitworth, Manchester and Tandem Theatre. Please show your support! https://pass…rite.co.uk

Nice find, thanks for sharing Paula. The feedback mechanism on this is genius - it lets you know where the money went, knowing it went to something positive would encourage you to give again. And from the recipient point of view - it empowers them to choose something that is needed. Really clever.

Really interesting isn't it... good to see more and more positive responses to social problems and social injustice.

Looking forward to letting you know about the special events in our festival program - some good stuff going on! Tomorrow we screen the taster day films we made with homeless affected people at two shelters _ I'll share the behind the scenes videos soon - just engaging makes a difference to vulnerable people.
